Hey dudes,
Harpoon isn’t very good at using the old computer for this kind of stuff, but if you didn’t know he’s a high school teacher at Diamond Bar high and his students made it into the top 50 out of 1400 for a Vans Shoes art contest. If they get into the top 5 they get to go to NYC to try for the win!
They need votes and If you can vote and also please post this on your blogs or facebook, etc. The voting closes on Sunday so time is short.

There’s a picture of their work attached, here’s the link to vote:

Eugenes bike!

Is about as close to done as any of us, the fucker just has to get his tank painted and it's done. A little bit of raw metal got him around the block a few times last weekend and it sounded mean as fuck! I like seeing my friends get on the road. Shovelhead house for life!!

Uh oh

Little Chris picked up his first bike tonight. 58 ironhead. Real clean nice bike.

I love those early ironheads. Congrats Chris.

Alex's first bike

Alex bought himself a piece of shit 77 Honda cb 750 last year to ride while he was building his ironhead. It got the job done.

Well he sold it to our buddy kip and he gave it the love it needed. Here is a photo of luke and the bike now after they fixed it up some. Looking good boys.

Just about there!

And it's fucking killing me.. Kendall finished the pinstriping and I gotta say it looks like a different bike, seriously insane how talented he is! Everyone in the shop has helped me a lot with this bike but I have to say Sean has been there through everything and taught me a lot. Can't thank you enough my friend. Everyone better go to the Dixie Roundup in Alabama this coming weekend, it's going to be fucked!

Big Mountain Run?

I plan on riding down there from Chicago (if my bikes good) and wanted to know if anyone else is? I have the 13th thru the 22nd off so I wanted to maybe go easy on the bike and do it two days there two days back. My shovel hasn't been on the road since 1987 so I don't wanna push it too hard. Hit me up of you're down or got any info on where I should ride to or what day I should get there, it's my first year going! Pgskater04@yahoo.com

Im not to sure what we did in Daytona but I guess people were stoked on it. Our buddy Brandon sent over this photo from japan and I Can't wait to see it in person. Big thanks to shinya for partying hard with us that weekend, even though the language barrier was rough we all spoke "party". Such a great time!

She's a runner

Well Alex and I got my bike running tonight. She fired right up and just sat there idling so nicely as though she was saying I'm sorry for the last year.

This bike was just a frame sitting in the corner last week. We had 3 nights worth of hard work and it's almost done. It's crazy how much you can get done in a short period of time when you have all hands on deck. Thanks to Alex, Dustin, Justin, Nate, and Brandon for your help. Still have to finish a couple things but it's close.

-cody

Eugenes bike.

Eugenes bike is probably the toughest looking bike in the shop, seriously something outta Hells Angels Forever. Today he stressed out making his sissy bar but it's a way better job then he thinks so shut up Son. Still a little bit of work to be done but This bitch is real close, about a week or so. Can't wait to ride next to him and look disco as fuck son!

My paint by Kendall

Got my paint back from Kendall today. Cell phone photos suck so bad but I guess you can get the idea. Gotta see it in person. He still has to pin stripe the fancy lines in the middle and then it's done. I still can't grasp that I own this bike, I'm very greatful for everyone that's helped me on it. Thanks so much Kendall, it's amazing. Better photos when it's done.

New setup

So I think I'm going to turn the long bike into a little longer project and do all the body work and paint myself. So in the mean time I threw my motor and tranny into the chassis for my knuckle. A little locktite and spray paint and we'll be on the road.

Dear fatbob, it has a front brake.

Good weekend!

This weekend was pretty amazing! Rob ended up helping me wire my bike and busted it out in like an hour, Kendall picked up my tanks and fenders and is geting them ready for paint, it was brads birthday Saturday and we went and celebrated at Joes Crab Shack! We also had a shop gathering and built a fence. For the first time we actually had all 10 of us at the shop at one time and nobody there to take a picture.. We also talked about geting a hot tub for the backyard and I hope we can make it happen cause it'd be the best fucking place on earth then. If everything goes well I should be starting my bike in the next two weeks. Cross your fingers.
