She's a runner

Well Alex and I got my bike running tonight. She fired right up and just sat there idling so nicely as though she was saying I'm sorry for the last year.

This bike was just a frame sitting in the corner last week. We had 3 nights worth of hard work and it's almost done. It's crazy how much you can get done in a short period of time when you have all hands on deck. Thanks to Alex, Dustin, Justin, Nate, and Brandon for your help. Still have to finish a couple things but it's close.

Eugenes bike.

Eugenes bike is probably the toughest looking bike in the shop, seriously something outta Hells Angels Forever. Today he stressed out making his sissy bar but it's a way better job then he thinks so shut up Son. Still a little bit of work to be done but This bitch is real close, about a week or so. Can't wait to ride next to him and look disco as fuck son!

My paint by Kendall

Got my paint back from Kendall today. Cell phone photos suck so bad but I guess you can get the idea. Gotta see it in person. He still has to pin stripe the fancy lines in the middle and then it's done. I still can't grasp that I own this bike, I'm very greatful for everyone that's helped me on it. Thanks so much Kendall, it's amazing. Better photos when it's done.

New setup

So I think I'm going to turn the long bike into a little longer project and do all the body work and paint myself. So in the mean time I threw my motor and tranny into the chassis for my knuckle. A little locktite and spray paint and we'll be on the road.

Dear fatbob, it has a front brake.

Good weekend!

This weekend was pretty amazing! Rob ended up helping me wire my bike and busted it out in like an hour, Kendall picked up my tanks and fenders and is geting them ready for paint, it was brads birthday Saturday and we went and celebrated at Joes Crab Shack! We also had a shop gathering and built a fence. For the first time we actually had all 10 of us at the shop at one time and nobody there to take a picture.. We also talked about geting a hot tub for the backyard and I hope we can make it happen cause it'd be the best fucking place on earth then. If everything goes well I should be starting my bike in the next two weeks. Cross your fingers.

Welding

Getting there, it's really nice to have my own machine so I could actually get comfortable with it. I never liked using the pulse function while welding and am glad that mine doesn't have it.

Now if I would have just used the correct rod.... Steel rod on stainless bracket. Oops.

The Haints

Once I was given this coozie I knew it'd be in my back pocket for a long time. Everyone that's seen it wants one, and I really can't blame them. I've already had some really drunk nights with it since we got back from Daytona and every morning I wake up freaking out and checking my back pocket to see if I still have it. Sure enough it's been there everytime. Thanks Nick.
